SDG Cup Registration for SDG-linked Race

To Take Part in a Race (Sustainability)

Global sustainability movements have highlighted the urgent need to operate within the planet’s resource constraints to ensure that we can meet the needs of present and future generations.

Members of Gen Z (which represents the largest segment of consumers and of the workforce in general) believe they have the power to make a positive change, but they also recognize that organisations must drive action on social and environmental issues.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 goals created by the UN at the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs help provide a manageable framework to view and assess the world’s most pressing problems.

Without this UN-backed framework, we cannot buy into a sustainable vision of the world. The SDGs also can be aligned with ESG, which in turn helps companies promote sustainability, philanthropy, and public social impacts.

Every Certified Race is to Encourage and Promote Effective Public, Public-private and Civil Society Partnerships for Making Positive Impacts.

It aims to

1) Help public and private sector organisations publicly commit to sustainability

2) Increase overall connection of sustainable development (global) goals within organisations, and

3) Help individuals and organizations make positive changes.
